The Eels will be hoping to bounce back from a horror 2024 next season, and return to the form that saw them qualify for the grand final just two years ago.
To do so, they will need the services of star halfback Mitchell Moses, who was a standout player for them during the first half of the season, and was even selected in the NSW Origin team that took out the 2024 series.
But like all teams, the Eels will keep one eye on the present, and the other on the future, reportedly set to bring in a rising star into the first grade squad during the 2025 pre-season.

Eels to bring in Te Hurinui Twidle for 2025 pre-season
Te Hurinui Twidle, a dynamic young fullback prospect some call the 'next Mitchell Moses', is being brought in by the Eels for the 2025 pre-season, according to Zero Tackle.
Twidle has starred for Parramatta's Jersey Flegg cup team this year, and was a key part of the franchise's 2023 SG Ball Cup title win.
Now, the youngster gets the call-up to the big leagues, training under new coach Jason Ryles as the team attempts to change their trajectory after a horror 2024 campaign.
Originally from New Zealand, the teenager could represent the next big thing for Parramatta, and help to fill the void of young talent left by fellow star-in-the-making Blaize Talagi, who defected to Penrith earlier this year.
