In the wake of a successful season with the St George Illawarra Dragons, outside back Max Feagai has found a new home with the Dolphins.

The 23-year-old has been signed on a two-year deal and will join Wests Tigers’ Junior Tupou to add more youth and depth to the back line next season.

Dolphins CEO Terry Reader is excited at the prospect of Feagai joining the team and said in a statement, "Max is just the kind of recruit we are looking for to add depth and youth to our squad."

"He has been a representative player through his junior career, and with 23 matches behind him now he has proved he is a true NRL player. Importantly, this year he played the most NRL games of any year in his career. So what is most exciting is that we know his best football is just ahead of him."

Feagai played for the U18s NSW Blues and Australian Schoolboys in his junior career and was recruited straight out of it by the Dragons in 2019.

Feagai, Tupou and Kulikefu Finefeuiaki are some of the Dolphins’ newest recruits for the 2025 squad and will be led by new coach, Kristian Woolf, who enters his first season as an NRL head coach.

With the signing of the new players, the Dolphins have four remaining roster spots for next season as Edrick Lee, Anthony Milford, Tesi Niu and Valynce Te Whare remain without contracts.

Training for the 2025 season is set to begin from November.
