Brisbane Broncos enforcer Payne Haas has become the outright Dally M Medal leader following Round 8 of the NRL.

He is now followed by Penrith Panthers captain Nathan Cleary, who sits alone in second after a strong showing against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Cronulla Sharks fullback William Kennedy and Dolphins young gun Isaiya Katoa were the only two players to pick up full Dally M points this week.
