There have been a lot of nasty text messages and phone calls going on in the past few days as media figures and clubs take sides in the Melbourne verse The Rest war.
Anti-Storm figures have been feeding journos images and off the record quotes to keep the pressure up on Cameron Smith and Co.
The Storm are using their friends in the media to fire back.
One bloke who has so far kept out of it is Craig Bellamy.

He wasn’t even aware Smith was in trouble for tweaking Bailey Simonsson’s ear on Saturday night.
He is now.
Bellyache’s pre-game media session will be compulsive viewing this week.
WHERE'S THE RED CARPET FOR PAUL GALLEN?
He won't crack the 400-game mark but plenty at Cronulla are asking if the NRL will afford Paul Gallen the Cameron Smith treatment over the next few weeks.
Gal has played 344 first grade games over 19 seasons, led the Sharks to their maiden premiership, captained the Blues to an Origin series win and played 32 Tests for his country.
He has also done plenty to promote the game off the field.
But there is no sign of an expensive private dinner with NRL heavyweights or a ring for his wife.
No wonder many in the game are crying double standards

APOLOGIES TAKE THEIR TOLL
I keep hearing the NRL’s Head of Football Graham Annesley is being worn down by the constant criticism levelled at match officials.
Poor old Felix fronts the media each Monday in what has become an apology-athon for the mistakes of the weekend.
It’s great the NRL is being so transparent but I’m not sure the weekly sessions are that positive for the game.
BILLY WALTERS LANDS WITH WESTS TIGERS
The Wests Tigers are expected to officially announce the signing of Billy Walters any day now.
Walters – the son of Queensland coach Kevin - made an emotional debut for Melbourne earlier this year and handled the occasion well.
That sparked interest from a few clubs - and the Tigers were quickest to pounce.
Walters is 25 and a late bloomer, but he should prove a handy pick-up.
