The Broncos have added depth to their forward pack with the signing of front-rower Corey Jensen on a two-year deal.

Jensen heads to Red Hill after 58 games in five years at North Queensland.

The 27-year-old has predominantly come off the bench in his time in first-grade, starting just five games in his career thus far.

Jensen has been unable to secure a regular place in Todd Payten's 17 in 2021, featuring nine times, most recently in round 12.

Broncos football director Ben Ikin said Jensen's experience was appealing.

"Corey is a quality player who has been around the NRL system for a while," Ikin said.

"He brings an older, harder edge and will be a great addition to our squad."

Jensen is another piece of the puzzle in a significant rebuild at the Broncos who are currently 15th on the ladder following on from their first-ever wooden spoon in 2020.

Souths halfback Adam Reynolds will join the club on a three-year deal next season, while versatile Queensland representative Kurt Capewell is also heading to Brisbane.

Brenko Lee has also been recruited from Melbourne, while a host of re-signings, including Kotoni Staggs, Tesi Niu, Keenan Palasia, Jordan Riki, Kobe Hetherington and Tyson Gamble among others, will lead the club into the future.
