Canberra Raiders v Manly Sea Eagles: team lists, odds, TV channel image

Friday night footy will go down to the icy, cold of the nation's capital when the Raiders take on Manly in round 12.

Both teams will head into the clash in very different form with Manly notching two wins in the last two weeks, while Canberra have lost their last two games.

However, both clubs sit right next to each other on the bottom half of the ladder with four wins apiece, well outside the eight.

The Raiders have also been rocked by the end of season departures of big men Shannon Boyd and Junior Paulo in the last week.

HOW TO WATCH CANBERRA AND MANLY?

The Friday 6:00pm slot means many may miss the start of the game on their way home from Friday work drinks.

But for those who can, check out Fox League (Channel 502) for coverage of the game. NRL Tonight kicks off at 5:00pm and will be followed by NRL Friday Night Footy up until kick off.

Channel Nine's free-to-air broadcast will only cover the later Cowboys/Storm clash featuring Johnathan Thurston and Cameron Smith going head-to-head.

For those who don't have Foxtel or not attending the game, never fear - your local pub/club will come to your aid.

There is also the NRL live pass which is free for Telstra mobile customers and $3.99 per week for everyone else.

CAN I WATCH IT OVERSEAS?

Fox Sports and the NRL have teamed up to launch Watch NRL for footy fans living overseas (assuming overseas isn't New Zealand or the Pacific Territories). The service, which can be accessed through the app, the website or using Airplay/Chromecast, will deliver all of the games of the 2018 NRL season, State of Origin, Test matches played on home soil, ISC games and a live stream of the Fox Footy channel.

IS IT STREAMING ON THE RADIO?

ABC Grandstand, Triple M and 2GB will all continue their respective coverage, but the news for 2018 is the emergence of NRL Nation .

Previously, regional listeners were lucky to hear a game - but not anymore.

WHAT TIME IS THE GAME ON?

The game kicks off at 6:00pm AET, but if you’re keen on a preview, Fox League will have live coverage from 5:00pm for all the team news and strategy breakdowns.

DOES MANLY EVER WIN IN CANBERRA?

The Sea Eagles have an outstanding record for an opposition team in Canberra, winning nine out of 15 games in the nation's capital. They have won six of their last seven matches down south.

Interchange: 14 Matthew Wright, 15 Frank Winterstein, 16 Lloyd Perrett, 17 Toafofoa Sipley

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SEA EAGLES LOSE?

On the back of two straight victories, Manly have moved up to 12th on the ladder. If the Sea Eagles lose, they could fall as far back down the table to 15th. A win in Canberra could see Manly rocket into finals contention and end the round in 10th position, ahead of the bye round next week.

CANBERRA'S ROUND TWELVE SIDE

1 Jack Wighton, 2 Nick Cotric, 3 Jarrod Croker (c), 4 Joseph Leilua, 5 Jordan Rapana, 6 Blake Austin, 7 Aidan Sezer, 8 Dunamis Lui, 9 Siliva Havili, 10 Shannon Boyd, 11 Josh Papalii, 12 Elliott Whitehead, 13 Iosia Soliola

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE RAIDERS LOSE?

Much like Manly, if the Raiders lose they could drop to 15th if results don't fall their way. While a win will see the green machine move up a place to 10th.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS THAT WILL WIN ME SOME CASH?

Manly are the outsiders, currently at $2.10 on Ladbrokes, but could cause an upset at home on the back of their positive record down south. The home side are sitting at  $1.73 favourites.

WHAT STATS CAN I USE FOR A BET ON THE GAME?

- Both Canberra and Manly have four wins and seven losses so far in 2018.

- The Raiders only have a 50% winning record at home this season, while Manly have only won one game from six attempts on the road.

- Manly have won two on the trot, the Raiders have lost two in a row.

- Both teams have scored 40 tries this season.

- Jarrod Croker is only the second player to pass 100 points (102) in 2018.
