The coaching merry-go-round is in full swing after Anthony Seibold informed South Sydney his preferred option was to succeed Wayne Bennett and take over the Brisbane Broncos.
The Australian reports the Rabbitohs have already begun their hunt for a replacement and a potential swap with Wayne Bennett could be on the cards.
On Wednesday, Sporting News' NRL Lurker revealed South Sydney are willing to table a three-year deal to the out-of-favour Brisbane coach.

Various outlets are suggesting Brisbane will announce Seibold's arrival in the coming days, paving the way for Bennett's move to South Sydney.
Whether or not the swap happens before the 2019 season remains a mystery, with Bennett seemingly adamant on finishing his tenure at Red Hill.

It comes after suggestions Bennett had turned cold on the prospect of joining Wests Tigers, who are on the brink of triggering an early release for Ivan Cleary to complete his family union with son Nathan at Penrith.
Bennett is believed to be joined by David Furner, Adam O’Brien and Jason Demetriou on South Sydney's shortlist.
Furner appeared to be the frontrunner to replace Seibold after spending the year under his wing as an assistant, however Leeds have announced Furner has pledged his full commitment to them.
His contract has a get-out clause if an NRL job was to pop up, although it appears Furner is keen on pursuing his new role at Leeds after only stepping into the job recently.
