Brisbane Broncos halfback Adam Reynolds is expected to return to the fray in the coming days after he sent a scare through the camp when he suffered a foot injury at training.
The veteran was pictured being helped from the field after colliding with a teammate at Red Hill before he was sent for scans which revealed he had suffered a minor muscle strain.
Adam Reynolds injury updates: Brisbane Broncos halfback suffers foot muscle strain in pre-season
The positive update is a major boost for the club after it initially appeared to be a serious blow for the Broncos as they attempt to rid themselves of the memory of their heartbreaking grand final loss to Penrith last year.

"Adam picked up the injury in a drill towards the end of today's session," Brisbane's Head Of Performance Dave Ballard said.
"We'll see how Adam pulls up over the next 24 hours but he is a quick healer and we expect him to be back running in the coming days."
Payne Haas has already been nursing a hamstring complaint in January which has restricted his training duties, while the likes of Jesse Arthars and Jordan Riki are also on the comeback trail from injury.
Reynolds suffered the foot injury after landing awkwardly on the foot of a teammate.
The 33-year-old subsequently limped from the field before he was sent for scans to help determine the severity of the injury.

Brisbane Broncos fixtures
Brisbane will be in competitive action for the first time this year on Sunday, February 18 when they begin their Pre-Season Challenge campaign against the North Queensland Cowboys.
The following Saturday they will then head to 4 Pines Park for a clash with Manly Sea Eagles before jetting off to America.
One man who won't feature in the Pre-Season Challenge is Reynolds with the halfback declaring that regardless of his fitness levels, it was never the plan for him to play.
"There's no cause for concern," Reynolds told The Sydney Morning Herald.
"[The injury] won't impact me with the trials because the plan was to not play in them anyway."
The Broncos will begin their 2024 NRL campaign with a historic matchup against the Sydney Roosters on Sunday, March 3 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
