Portland Trail Blazers beat Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas Summer League championship game image

The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 91-73 to grab the 2018 Las Vegas Summer League championship.

Portland led the game from start to finish to record the largest Las Vegas Summer League championship game victory in history.

KJ McDaniels led the way for the Trail Blazers with a game-high 17 points earning championship game MVP in the process. Six different Trail Blazers finished with double figures including All-NBA Summer League second-teamer Wade Baldwin IV with dropped 14 points, six assists and four rebounds.

Portland finished the Las Vegas Summer League with a perfect 7-0 record.


Summer League MVP Josh Hart led the way for the Lakers with a team-high 12 points in 22 minutes. His night was cut short however after being ejected late in the fourth quarter after picking up his second technical foul.
