Phoenix reportedly offered Booker the deal on Wednesday and Booker and his reps plan to finalize the contract when the league's moratorium ends on Saturday (AEST).
It was reported last week that Booker and the team were at odds after the Suns released point guard Tyler Ulis without communicating the move to him. A move which allowed Phoenix to free up cap room to lure Trevor Ariza away from the Rockets.
The 21-year-old has been developed into the Suns' franchise star since being drafted 13th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft out of Kentucky and getting him back long-term would've been a top priority for GM Ryan McDonough.
Phoenix who held the number one overall pick in this past June's draft and the number four overall pick in 2017 have added both Deandre Ayton and Josh Jackson to play alongside Booker - creating a nice young nucleus they hope can get them back in the post-season - somewhere they haven't been since 2010.
Booker averaged 24.9 points, 4.7 assists and 4.5 rebounds playing 34.5 minutes per game last season.
All signings will not be official until the end of the NBA moratorium period on July 7.
