Tiger Woods has confirmed he will play his first tournament since The Masters at The Players Championship next month.
The 14-time major champion returned from a self-imposed two-month hiatus to play at Augusta, where he placed 17th after going five under par over the four rounds.
Following the tournament, Woods confirmed that he was to take more time off to practice and refine his game in a bid to find a solution that saw him dominate golf for over a decade.
The American is now set to play The Players at TPC Sawgrass, which starts on May 7 - a tournament that is often referred to as the 'fifth major'.
And Woods has ambitions of repeating his 2013 triumph when he won the tournament for the second time in his career.
He wrote on Twitter: "Looking forward to going back to THE PLAYERS this year, hoping for a repeat of 2013."
Woods dramatic decline in form before his break saw him fall out the world's top 100 and he is now ranked 106th in the world.
