West Indies batsman Darren Bravo will miss the remainder of the Cricket World Cup with a hamstring injury.
Bravo was forced to retire hurt when on 49 during the Windies' victory over Pakistan in Christchurch last Saturday after pulling up hurt chasing a quick single.
The 26-year-old subsequently missed Tuesday's victory over Zimbabwe and the heavy loss to South Africa earlier on Friday.
Bravo originally stayed with the squad in the hope that he would recover in time to play a part later in the tournament, but West Indies are now set to draft a replacement.
"Darren Bravo has been ruled out of the World Cup and will be replaced in the West Indies squad. Get well soon," read a tweet from West Indies Players' Association.
West Indies return to Pool B action against India next Friday.
