Eric Willett led an American one, two, three at Friday's slopestyle meet at Park City to clinch a maiden FIS Snowboarding World Cup victory.
The 27-year-old was involved in a keen contest with compatriots Chas Guldemond and Eric Beauchemin, before eventually coming through to top the podium.
Willett led after the first run with a score of 85.75, before Guldemond moved ahead on the next attempt with a cab 1260 and a double poke 1080 - while Beauchemin improved to second.
However, Willett was not done yet and a 1260 to switch backside 1080 was enough for him to take maximum points thanks to a score of 95.25.
In the women's event there was more success for Cheryl Maas, who won a third straight World Cup race.
The Dutchwoman picked up a big air and slopestyle double in Stoneham last weekend.
And Maas followed up with a winning score of 87.75 in Friday's slopestyle meet in Utah, to hold off the challenge of Karly Shorr and Elena Koenz.
