Lindsey Vonn tied the record for FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup victories by triumphing in Sunday's rescheduled women's downhill race in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The second downhill race on the Italian slopes this weekend was originally due to be held on Saturday, but heavy snowfall meant the meet had to be put back.
But the wait was worth it for Vonn, who equalled the benchmark of 62 World Cup victories held by Austria's Annemarie Moser-Proll.
The American, who is enjoying a renaissance in Alpine skiing after missing most of 2014 through injury, clocked a time of one minute and 39.61 seconds.
That proved enough to edge Elisabeth Gorgl, who had to settle for second place.
Home favourite Daniela Merighetti rounded off the podium, narrowly beating Italian compatriot Elena Fanchini - victor in Friday's downhill race in Cortina - into third.
Speaking after the win, Vonn told Austrian television: "Annemarie is the greatest skier in the world. She is a big example for me."
Vonn's victory sees her extend the gap at the top of the downhill leaderboard to 125 points over Tina Maze, the Slovenian was only able to post the fifth fastest time.
