With a berth to the Frozen Four – NCAA hockey’s version of March Madness - on the line, North Dakota took the lead over Michigan late in the first period after Drake Caggulia buried his own rebound.
Caggulia was rightly chuffed yet didn’t have time to celebrate as he was leveled by the ref as the senior forward skated behind the goal.
Textbook stuff. The ref didn't even budge.

North Dakota went on to win the game, 5-2, and advance to another Frozen Four.
