Jonathan Trott has no doubt that he can cope with the pressure if selected for England's first Test against West Indies on Monday.
The batsman has not featured for England since he left the 2013-14 Ashes tour of Australia due to a stress-related illness.
However, Trott has returned to the fold after impressing for Warwickshire in the County Championship and played for England Lions in South Africa earlier this earlier.
The 33-year-old could now win his 50th Test cap in Antigua and Trott is relishing a potential return in the Caribbean.
"I've been tested on and off the field and had to go through the ringer to get here," Trott told reporters.
"So, yes, I feel really confident I can cope and do really well.
"I didn't know if I was going to be selected but I had to get my head down and push my case forward and that's all I could do. I'm really glad.
"It's been a little bit frustrating being stuck on 49 [caps] all that time, but I'm really proud of what I've achieved so to get a 50th cap would be great."
