Toulon have confirmed the signing of Australia international Quade Cooper.
Cooper, who currently plays for Super Rugby side Queensland Reds, has joined the Top 14 side on a two-year-contract from next season.
The move will see Cooper link up with compatriots Matt Giteau and Drew Mitchell as well as New Zealand inside centre Ma'a Nonu - who will move to Toulon from Highlanders after the Rugby World Cup.
With 53 caps to his name, Cooper will need to play seven more Test matches for the Wallabies in order to qualify for international selection next year while playing overseas.
That is no guarantee for the New Zealand-born player, who is on the sidelines with a broken scapula and has played just a game-and-a-half for the Reds.
Toulon lead the Top 14 by three points from Clermont-Auvergne, who they face in the inaugural European Champions Cup final at Twickenham on May 2.
