Mitchell Starc and Aaron Finch were Australia's heroes as they seized control of the one-day international tri-series with a four-wicket win over India in Melbourne.
Fresh from a four-wicket haul in a three-wicket victory over England in Friday's series opener, Starc returned a hugely impressive 6-43 - the best figures by an Australian at the MCG in ODIs.
Despite a swashbuckling 138 from 139 deliveries by opener Rohit Sharma - Suresh Raina's half-century aside - the rest of India's order failed to add big runs to a total of 267-8.
Following Starc's heroics, Finch led the reply with a composed knock of 96 as Australia reached their target with six balls remaining.
The only sour note for Australia came from the fact that George Bailey is likely to receive a ban in their next outing for a slow over rate.
India chose to bat after winning the toss but, as he did two days earlier against England, Starc made an early breakthrough when Shikhar Dhawan (2) edged an attempted cover drive to Finch at slip off the fifth ball of the day.
Rohit made his intentions clear early, smashing a six straight down the ground off Pat Cummins (0-52), but debutant Gurinder Sandhu grabbed his first international wicket as Ajinkya Rahane (12) edged through to Brad Haddin before Virat Kohli (9) quickly followed him back to the pavilion.
Rohit and Suresh Raina (51) put India back on track with a 126-run fourth-wicket partnership, before the former became involved in a heated exchange with David Warner as the tense relationship between the teams, born out of several incidents from the recent Test series, continued.
Starc struck again to end Raina's innings, before bowling a double-wicket maiden in the 45th over to send MS Dhoni (19) and Akshar Patel (0) packing.
Rohit eventually departed when his attempted slog from Starc's full toss picked out Glenn Maxwell at midwicket.
Australia started their reply well with Warner (24) and Finch regularly finding the boundary, until the former spooned Umesh Yadav's (2-55) delivery to Raina at cover point.
That proved a mere blip, though, as Finch combined for partnerships of 64 and 101 with Shane Watson (41) and Steve Smith (47) to leave Australia in command.
Finch eventually fell when he nicked a Yadav ball into the safe hands of Dhoni just short of a sixth ODI hundred.
Australia made hard work of it when Bailey (5) and Maxwell (20) fell cheaply, but Brad Haddin (13 not out) and usual finisher James Faulkner (9 not out) eased the nerves and guided Australia to two wins from two.
