Never one to shy away from his feelings, Australian Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo has laughed off an incident in Abu Dhubai where he can be seen flipping off Romain Grosjean during a practice session.

After the two tangled on the track, Ricciardo can be seen driving past the Frenchman and in true Aussie fashion gave him the bird as he went by.
While you wouldn't blame the Red Bull driver for a bit of frustration on the track, the 28-year-old found a unique excuse for the incident.
"I had a bruised finger," Ricciardo responded.
"I had an oversteer, and I was just shaking it off.
"He (Grosjean) didn't mean it.
"It is only practice, so I am not phased by it. Heat of the moment. It was frustrating.
"I apologise if I offended any kids...actually no I don't, I don't apologise.
"But we're sweet, there's no beef."
Hey @RGrosjean it's not what it looks like 😂 pic.twitter.com/nWCXtELg2t

The practice session in Abu Dhabi finished in familiar fashion with world champion Lewis Hamilton edging out Sebastian Vettel for the fastest time.
