As the PGA Tour completes its California swing this weekend, the field for the Northern Trust Open commands attention. Big names on plentiful at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Americans in the field include Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson, Keegan Bradley, Jim Furyk and Brandt Snedeker, winner at last week's Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Sergio Garcia leads the international contingent that includes Vijay Singh, Hideki Matsuyama and Luke Donald. Canada's Graham DeLaet was off to a strong start, with Mike Weir and David Hearn also competing.
The quality of this week's competition is no surprise. Riviera draws an elite field.
"You look at the great names on there, it's an honor to be a part of," Bubba Watson told reporters. "Every tournament has history, but ... they just leave it the way it is. They let the grass and the wind and the humps and bumps of the greens define their golf course instead of trying to make it extra long."
Many players love playing Riviera. And everyone is gearing up for the Masters.
