A nice rule in life is to not steal things, especially ill-gotten souvenirs, from children.
A fan at Consol Energy Center did not follow that rule on Thursday night. Sabres coach Dan Bylsma, back in Pittsburgh for the first time since the Penguins fired him in 2014, tried to do something nice for a kid. An old guy, probably from Mt. Lebanon or Cranberry, ruined it.

There's no way he didn't know what he was doing, and thus he deserves to be publicly shamed. The wrath of the internet should be reserved for instances like this. The Deadspin flowchart for foul balls is in effect, and it does not favor our bald friend.
It was almost as bad as this, but not quite.
Things worked out for that girl, and the same thing is apparently true for the boy.
For everyone tweeting us about the little kid who just got the puck snatched away, we're on it - don't you worry.

Hopefully that means that they stole it back.
