Despite his previous transgressions and a myriad of legal issues, Johnny Manziel claims to have his life together and is focused on a return to the NFL.

Although he has a reported six-game suspension hanging over his head for a misdemeanor assault case, Manziel has managed to hire his former agent Erik Burkhardt and is drawing "real interest" from teams at the NFL Scouting Combine, according to NFL Media.
Burkhardt dumped the former Heisman Trophy winner just over a year ago, reportedly after the troubled QB continually declined to follow his advice, both professionally and personally.
Since Manziel's personal life and brushes with the law were becoming tabloid fodder, Burkhardt said he felt he couldn't be honest with NFL personnel that Manziel would deliver on and off the field.
But now apparently Burkhardt has seen enough character improvements in Manziel, who has returned to College Station this past fall to train and finish his degree at Texas A&M.
With a number of teams in dire need of quarterback help, it would not be inconceivable to see the 24-year-old free-agent QB to receive an invite to a team's camp to try to compete for at least a backup job.
