It's a three-peat at Michigan for Kyle Larson.

Larson hung around the top 10 all day, then jumped to a surprise overtime victory in the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Larson nailed a restart with two laps remaining. He jumped from fourth to first and spoiled what looked like a sure win for last week's Monster Energy Series race winner, Martin Truex Jr.

NASCAR CUP SERIES: Schedule  | Standings

"I was running a few options through my head if I got a good jump, and that was one of them," Larson told NBC Sports after the race.

Larson has won three consecutive races at Michigan. He swept the June and August races in 2016.

The race was shaping up to be an important one for Daniel Suarez as he chases a playoff berth, but his day ended early in the third stage with a wreck. Kasey Kahne tried to move around and ahead of Suarez but clipped him and slammed into the wall. A later wreck involving Paul Menard and Michael McDowell caused a red flag late in the race, and that set up the restart that led to Larson's victory.

Other bubble drivers like Clint Bowyer and Joey Logano also experienced big letdowns. Logano had to pit late for a flat tire, while Bowyer was penalized twice in the race before a tire rub late in the race made things even worse.

Brad Keselowski dominated the race early, winning Stage 1. Keselowski experienced trouble near the midpoint of the race and had to pit. He finished 17th. Truex won Stage 2 and stayed in the lead for most of Stage 3, battling rookie (and Michigan native) Erik Jones, the surprise frontrunner. Truex took second. Jones stoked playoff-hope embers with a third-place finish.
