Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has made just one change to his team to face England on Sunday, with Jordi Murphy replacing the injured Jamie Heaslip at number eight.

Heaslip broke three vertebrae in Ireland's 18-11 victory over France in their last Six Nations encounter against France earlier this month, meaning back-rower Murphy comes into the pack.

Murphy proved an able deputy for Heaslip when Ireland opened their account by beating Italy, the latter having missed out with shoulder and knee complaints on that occasion.

Schmidt has also resisted the urge to name fit-again Cian Healy in his starting XV, instead choosing to retain faith in Jack McGrath at loosehead prop.

Captain Paul O'Connell will earn his 99th cap, while full-back Rob Kearney racks up his 60th appearance.

Ireland are gunning for a 10th straight Test victory and the clash in Dublin is potentially crucial with both teams having yet to taste defeat in this season's tournament.
