Muhammad Ali plans to watch Saturday's Louisville-Duke basketball game at home with friends on his 73rd birthday.
That's good news after Ali was released after follow-up treatment for his recent medical problem. Ali, 73, spent 17 days in a hospital recently for what reports said was a severe urinary tract infection.

A Louisville, Ky., native, Ali remains among the best-known people in the world. His legendary boxing career ended more than 30 years ago, but he continues to be involved in humanitarian activities and social issues.

His public appearances have been limited, however, after decades with Parkinson's disease. He attended a September ceremony for the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards in Louisville but didn't speak to the audience.
Family spokesman Bob Gunnell said Ali "greatly appreciates the outpouring of support and continued well wishes."
Known as "The Greatest," Ali won the light heavyweight boxing Olympic gold medal in 1960. His professional career produced legendary heavyweight fights against Joe Frazier, George Foreman and others in the 1960s and '70s. He was world heavyweight champion three times.
It was not disclosed whether he was at home in Louisville or one of his residences in Arizona and Michigan.
