Jones-Drew, a second-round pick in 2006, rushed for 8,071 yards and 81 touchdowns in a Jags uniform. His 1,606 yards in 2011 were the most in the league and a Jaguars single-season record. He was selected for the Pro Bowl three times and was a first-team All-Pro in 2010 and 2011.
During the 2014 offseason, Jones-Drew signed a a three-year deal with the Raiders but was hardly used. He carried the ball just 43 times for 96 yards in 12 games last year.
Jones-Drew's retirement press conference is scheduled for Tuesday at EverBank Field in Jacksonville.
