You may have noticed on Wednesday at the Par 3 Contest that Rory McIlroy didn't just have a normal caddy carrying his clubs.

The golf superstar persuaded One Direction member and fellow Northern Irishman Naill Horan to tote his bag and even hit a shot or two. But it came with a price.

In exchange for humiliating himself at America's most prestigious golf course, Horan is making McIlroy join the group on stage in Boston this summer to sing.

When asked about McIlroy's singing ability, Horan told a Golf Channel reporter "Oh, he's a terrible singer."

So what he's trying to say is that McIlroy is as good at singing as Horan is at caddying.
