Former badminton world number one Lee Chong Wei faces a three-week wait to find out if he will be banned for an alleged doping violation.
Two-time Olympic silver medallist Lee was provisionally suspended by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) in November due to an adverse analytical finding relating to a sample taken at the world championships in August.
The Malaysian is said to have tested positive for banned anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone.
Lee faced a BWF panel in Amsterdam on Saturday and is now set for a nervous wait to discover his fate.
"I have cooled down a bit since the hearing. I had waited six months for it and now all we have to do is wait another three weeks for the result," Lee told reporters at an airport upon his return to Malaysia.
"Obviously, I am hoping for a good result. I am quite happy with our lawyer as he gave a clear and detailed presentation.
"I cannot say more than that, we will just have to wait for the panel to decide.
"I am more determined to make a comeback to qualify for next year's Olympics in Rio de Janeiro."
