Disgraced former Team USA gymnastics sports doctor Larry Nassar has had another 40 to 125 years added to his sentence for sexual abuse charges.

Eaton County judge Janice Cunningham sentenced the 54-year-old on Monday. The sentence will run concurrently with the 40 to 175 years Nassar is already slated to serve from his recent trial in neighbouring Ingham County, plus the 60-year sentence he received on federal child pornography charges last year.
"You have lived an idolised life," Cunningham told Nassar in court. "You were a prominent doctor in our society.
"You have been pampered and lived a high-class lifestyle and now the result is living the rest of your life in a small prison cell."
Monday's sentence is the culmination of a pair of trials in which scores of women spoke publicly of sexual abuse at the hands of Nassar.
He read a brief statement before the sentence was handed down, saying he was sorry for the pain he had caused, but Cunningham was not moved.
"I am not convinced you truly understand what you did was wrong and the devastating impact you've had on victims, their family and friends," she said. "I do not believe there is a likelihood you could be reformed."
Four-time Olympic champion Simone Biles was among those to accuse Nassar of abuse, along with her former team-mate Gabby Douglas and fellow Olympian Aly Raisman.
