The ladies' downhill and Super-G meets at Cortina d'Ampezzo in the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup have been rescheduled due to heavy snowfall at the Italian resort.
The downhill race was scheduled to take place on Saturday, but organisers decided to cancel the event as over half a metre of snow covered the venue.
Subsequently, the downhill contest has been shifted to Sunday, where American Lindsey Vonn will attempt to extend her lead at the top of the discipline's standings, while home-favourite Elena Fanchini will seek a Cortina d'Ampezzo double having won the first downhill race at the venue on Friday.
The change in schedule also affects the women's Super-G race that was originally slated for Sunday.
That race will now take place on Monday, with Lara Gut attempting to hold on to her slender lead with the likes of Elisabeth Gorgl, Tina Maze and Anna Fenninger all eyeing top spot.
