Stefan Kraft moved within seven points of FIS Ski Jumping World Cup leader Peter Prevc with victory in Sunday's meet in Lahti.
The Austrian earned his third victory of the season after scores of 139.7 and 144.8 over his two attempts gave him a combined total of 284.5 points.
Kraft, whose previous best individual result at the Finnish venue was a runners-up finish last season, now has 1308 points in the overall standings.
Prevc continues to top the leaderboard, but his lead is under threat after he managed to place just fourth in Lahti.
Germany's Severin Freund came home second with a score of 273.2 points, while Norwegian Anders Fannemel (268) was third.
Noriaki Kasai (263.2) completed the top five, while Anders Bardal (262.5) - part of the Norwegian quartet that won the team event in Lahti on Saturday - was sixth.
