Kansas State is well on its way to victory over Charlotte, so the 49ers have decided to pull some unique ways of trying to stop their opponents.
During the second quarter, Wildcats defender Kendall Adams was looking to scoop up a fumble recovery. In an attempt to stop him, a Charlotte player on the sideline decided to squirt his Gatorade bottle at the player. It didn't quite work, but the effort was interesting, to say the least.

Didn't quite get a good look?
Check out this angle.
The squirt was definitely intentional, but it clearly didn't make an impact. Adams went 54 yards on the scoop and scored his second defensive touchdown of the day. He had a 30-yard interception return earlier.
While the water squirt didn't work, it was worth pointing out just for the sheer absurdity of it. I don't think I've ever seen this attempted in a game before, and considering the outcome, it will probably be the last time we see it.
