Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is known for his behavior on the sideline. The Wolverines coach even broke his headset during last year’s game against Ohio State.

All that made Harbaugh the perfect candidate for the Planters "Shout for Nuts" vending machine. Harbaugh shouted "I love mixed nuts!" at the machine, which then dispenses those nuts, to kick off the campaign.

The result is this hilarious ad.

Harbaugh shot the commercial in Culver City, Calif. on March 12 and spoke to Sporting News about what made him the perfect pitch man for Planters.

"I've always been a big fan of peanuts," Harbaugh told SN. "Me, my dad, Jack Harbaugh, always loved Planters peanuts. I like it on peanut butter. I like it everywhere. Peanuts here! Get your peanuts here! At the ballpark, at any time, any time you have a craving it’s good to have a peanut nearby. … Unless you have a peanut allergy. Then I wouldn't recommend it."

Harbaugh is entering his third year as Michigan’s head coach and has led the Wolverines to back-to-back 10-win seasons. Harbaugh said he "acquitted himself well" when yelling at the vending machine.

"It was shouting into a machine and you had to get the decibel level high enough to get the can of peanuts to come out." Harbaugh said. "I was highly motivated. I like to eat peanuts as I said. I told my dad I was coming out here to do this, and he was expecting a year-long supply of peanuts, so I had to do good."

Harbaugh said that goal is accomplished, and the trip produced another memorable moment.

"I got to meet Mr. Peanut," Harbaugh said. "I got to actually meet the real Mr. Peanut, who is 101 years old. I got a picture with him. I can't wait to put that on my Twitter."

This ad is sure to be Harbaugh’s next viral hit on social media. The "Shout for Nuts" campaigns invites consumers to shout for mixed nuts, peanuts and cashews for free samples when they meet a NUTmobile.
