There are a lot of ways to gain an advantage on your opponent in a football game, and college players are trying pretty much everything. A few weeks ago we saw a player squirt water on his opponent to keep him from recovering a fumble, and we also saw a player toss his towel in the air to break up a pass.
But at least those carried some logic to them. Ohio safety Javon Hagan is trying something very different, as he keeps stealing towels from opponents.

So that's just one example, which Hagan was able to provide us. But as he told Bobcats play-by-play announcer Russ Eisenstein, Hagan has done this several times throughout his career. How many towels he's taken, and what he does with them is still a mystery, though.

And if you're like me, and want more video evidence, then here's a clip from last season.
I realize you lost the Dollar General Bowl but stealing your opponents sweat towel in the middle of a game? Really? #troyvsohio pic.twitter.com/nMpwBpmPNJ

We're not sure what this accomplishes, but it's definitely hilarious. The only problem now is his secret's out, and opposing players may be keeping a better eye on their towels moving forward.
