Iowa running back Akrum Wadley had a 74-yard touchdown run against North Texas ... until he didn't.
Wadley made an impressive play to get open, and outrun defenders on his way to the endzone. He even avoided a near tackle, and shortly after he decided to high-step it on his way to the score. Deion Sanders would be proud.

Unfortunately the ref didn't see it the same way.
The touchdown was taken off the board due to a 15-yard penalty being called for unsportsmanlike conduct. The NCAA view the play as “very demonstrative” and is essentially considered as taunting. We saw something similar happen earlier this month with Missouri.
There are a lot of dumb rules in college football, but this one is getting especially annoying. Just let the kids celebrate.
