A back injury means Sohail Khan will miss Pakistan's upcoming one-day international series with Bangladesh.

The fast bowler - who took 12 wickets at the recent Cricket World Cup, including a five-for against India - suffered the setback in the build up to the three 50-over games, with the first scheduled for Friday.

Junaid Khan, who was already part of the Pakistan Test squad for the Bangladesh tour, will deputise for Sohail Khan in the ODIs.

A statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed: "Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Khan suffered a back injury at the training camp, reporting pain during the practice match he featured in on April 11 2015.

"Post MRI scan he was advised recuperation for 2-3 weeks under the supervision of Dr. Sohail Saleem, head of PCB's Sports Medicine department."
