Jamie Heaslip has been included in Ireland's 36-man squad for the final two rounds of the Six Nations.
It was feared the influential number eight, who missed the 19-9 victory over England last time out, would be absent for the rest of the tournament following three fractured vertebrae after being kneed by France's Pascal Pape - an act that earned him a 10-week ban.
However, Heaslip is back in training and the Leinster man will hope to play a part in Ireland's bid to clinch the Grand Slam.
Next up for Ireland is a trip to the Millennium Stadium to face outsiders Wales this Saturday and lock Dan Tuohy is among those called up by head coach Joe Schmidt.
The Ulster star has not featured for Ireland since last year's victory over Wales.
Leinster props Michael Bent and Tadhg Furlong have also been named in the Irish party.
