Lewis Hamilton wants Mercedes team to maintain their excellent early-season form after he collected a third win from four races in 2015 at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The reigning champion secured a dominant pole-to-flag victory to continue his superb start to the Formula One campaign.
The Briton holds a 27-point lead over team-mate Nico Rosberg, while Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel is a further point adrift and Kimi Raikkonen is 51 behind.
But Hamilton says there are still improvements to be made to hold off a sustained Ferrari challenge.
"Ferrari gave us a really good run for our money," he said on the podium.
"We will need to keep pushing as a team."
Rosberg saw second place slip away to Raikkonen after trouble with his brakes forced him wide at turn one in the closing laps.
Hamilton stated that he also encountered a similar issue, but that it did not unduly affect his race.
"It was difficult to look after my tyres in the conditions," he added.
"My brakes got a bit warm when I went behind a few back markers. There was no cool air coming in, but it wasn't a problem."
