Expectation is that Stanton will approve trade to #Yankees, if he hasn’t already. Deal pending physicals.

It's unclear what the Marlins will receive for Stanton, but it's expected a combination of veteran and prospective players will be sent to Miami.
There’s progress on Yankees Stanton talk and hope, but hurdles remain. It’d likely be a mix of prospects with a high-priced veteran “(s) going to Miami too.

Despite hitting 59 home runs last season, Stanton was put on the market almost immediately after the season.
With new owners in place, the Marlins felt the 10 years and $295 million left on Stanton's contract was too much of a risk.
The Cardinals and Giants appeared to be leading the race when both teams had deals in place with the Marlins, but Stanton informed St. Louis and San Francisco on Friday that he would not waive his no-trade clause for them.
Stanton won his first MVP award this season after hitting .281 with 59 home runs and 132 RBIs. Injuries have plagued his career, though, which is why some teams shied away from his services.
Only two players eclipsed 50 home runs last season, and they now both play for the Yankees. New York fell in love with rookie outfielder Aaron Judge, who bashed 52 home runs — most ever by a rookie.
Yankees fans will now have to decide whether or not they want to sit in the "The Judge's Chambers" or create a new one for Stanton.
