Severin Freund wowed the home fans with a dominant victory at the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup meet in Titisee-Neustadt on Saturday.
Fresh from a victory in Willingen last weekend that bumped him back into World Cup contention, Freund was once more victorious on German slopes.
The home favourite posted a jump of 138.5 metres on his first attempt, before landing a 140m on his second run - the biggest of the day.
That resulted in a combined score of 299.4 points, 11.4 more than second-placed Stefan Kraft.
Freund, who is third in the overall World Cup leaderboard, now trails leader Kraft by 150 points.
Peter Prevc completed the podium and remains in second place overall, just 49 points adrift of Kraft.
Defending champion Kamil Stoch claimed fourth place, while Roman Koudelka was fifth.
Freund will have the opportunity to take advantage of home support again on Sunday, when Titisee-Neustadt hosts a second meet of the weekend.
