After the All-Australian defender came off second best from a Matthew Pavlich front-on bump that had Wood clutching his shoulder in pain, the Bulldogs rebounded with a third quarter hanger that he had no right to get near – let alone hold onto.
EASTON WOOD may have just taken the mark of the year. WOW. WEE. #earlycall #AFLDogsFreo

After taking that brief sit atop Lachie Weller’s shoulders, Wood finished the game with 23 disposals, five marks and three inside 50s in the bulldogs 65-point win.
Upon reflection, Easton Wood had no right to get a decent hand on that footy let alone mark the dang thing. Remarkable #AFLDogsFreo
