Allan Donald has left his role as South Africa bowling coach after almost four years working with the Proteas.
The 48-year-old first took on the position under Gary Kirsten's management team in June 2011 and was retained when Russell Domingo took over in August 2013.
Donald, who took 330 wickets in 72 Tests for the Proteas, stated that having been part of South Africa's Cricket World Cup staff it was the perfect time to step aside.
"I have had some time to reflect after the World Cup and have come to the conclusion that the time is right to move on," he told Cricket South Africa.
"It was always a big dream of mine to work in the South African cricket environment after my playing days and I was incredibly honoured to be given the opportunity.
"The last four years have been the best of my life and being involved with the Proteas in the 2015 Cricket World Cup was a goal I had set my sights on."
