Cricket Australia (CA) has stated it is unable to comment on reports of a writ issued by former Test spinner Stuart MacGill against the governing body.
Reports in Australia have claimed MacGill is seeking 1.6million Australian dollars in unpaid match payments and prize money.
The writ, filed with the Victorian Supreme Court, also claims interest amounting to the sum of 984,534 AUD.
CA have now moved to acknowledge the reports.
"We are aware of media reports but aren't in a position to comment further," read a statement on CA's official website.
MacGill played 44 Test matches for Australia between 1998 and 2008, taking 208 wickets.
