The former Kiwi international will miss this weekend’s blockbuster clash with the Broncos with the judiciary taking little time in finding him guilty of making dangerous contact with Mitchell Pearce’s leg during last Friday’s 38-28 loss.
“We came here tonight with what we thought was a good case to get the charge dropped but that hasn’t happened so I’ll cop the punishment,” said after the judiciary hearing.
“I’ll just focus on getting ready for Round 23.
“It was a fair hearing with both sides putting their side forward, so I just need to accept the decision, move on and go up and support the boys.”
There wasn’t the same acceptance on social media, with Dogs fans appalled at the outcome.
