Mitch Langerak replaced the dropped Roman Weidenfeller and helped struggling Borussia Dortmund record a much-needed 1-0 win at home to Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

"I was a bit surprised to play tonight - I only found out today I'd play and I'm very pleased with how it went."

In the 2. Bundesliga, Ben Halloran scored to equalise for Fortuna Dusseldorf but couldn't prevent his side from going down 3-1 at home to Sandhausen.
