The Anaheim Ducks overcame a two-goal deficit on their way to a 4-3 shoot-out victory over the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL on Monday.
Pavel Datsyuk's second-period brace had the Red Wings in control before the Ducks dominated early in the third.
In fewer than four third-period minutes, the Ducks were ahead thanks to goals from Andrew Cogliano, Emerson Etem and Francois Beauchemin.
The Red Wings responded through Riley Sheahan, whose goal with under four minutes remaining forced overtime.
It led to a shoot-out in which Ducks goaltender John Gibson stopped two of three attempts and Corey Perry and Jakob Silfverberg both scored to see their team to victory.
The Red Wings sit third in the Atlantic division despite their loss, while the Ducks are top of the Pacific.
The day's only other game saw the New Jersey Devils claim their fourth straight win with a 3-0 victory over the Arizona Coyotes.
Devils goalie Cory Schneider had a 38-save shutout while Mike Cammalleri scored a third-period double.
The Devils are eight points adrift of a wildcard in the Eastern Conference, while the struggling Coyotes have lost six straight matches.
