Fans of Adam Scott can breathe easy — Steve Williams is back as his caddie.

The two mutually parted ways at the end of the 2013-14 season, after a reported verbal disagreement at the Tour Championship. Williams said before the start of last season that 2014 would be his last year working as a caddie full time, but with Scott's limited schedule, he was expected to remain on for most of his events.

"Steve was adamant that he was not going to caddie in 2015, so he took some convincing, but I am very happy he's agreed to help out," Scott said, via pgatour.com. "We've had great success together, so I'm looking forward to being on the links with Steve again."

Scott has struggled this season with only one top-10 finish and two missed cuts in eight starts, so he's hoping the magic that saw him attain the world No. 1 ranking last year can be rekindled with Williams.

Williams was first hired by Scott in 2011, after he was fired by Tiger Woods, and immediately helped Scott with his game and attitude. Scott won his first major in 2013 at the Masters and held a four-shot lead at the Open Championship in 2012 before bogeying his last four holes and losing to Ernie Els by one shot.

When he first agreed to caddie for Scott, Williams made the Aussie promise he'd take the game more seriously. Scott agreed and quickly rose to become one of the most consistent golfers at big events.

Williams will caddie for Scott in his next four events: The U.S. Open, Open Championship, WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the PGA Championship. It has yet to be determined if he'll stay on after that.
