With three weeks left until the College Football Playoff committee makes it final picks, there’s still time for a major upset.

Which schools have the goods to knock off a potential playoff team in late November or early December?

Here’s a look at 10 FBS schools that might just play spoiler down the stretch.

Auburn

Target: Alabama (Nov. 29)

Scenario: Do we really need to draw it out? Auburn won’t repeat as SEC champions, but the Tigers can ruin Alabama’s season in Tuscaloosa. Auburn is 5-2 at Bryant-Denny Stadium since 2000, but both losses are to Nick Saban.

Boston College

Target: Florida State (Nov. 22)

Scenario: Hey, Boston College did have a 17-3 lead against Florida State in the second quarter last season. It’s Tyler Murphy's turn to try to take down Jameis Winston. This weekend is the 30th anniversary of the "Hail Flutie." Just sayin'.

Florida

Target: Florida State (Nov. 29)

Scenario: If Boston College can’t do it, then maybe Will Muschamp can go out a winner with the Gators by knocking out the defending national champions. The Gators did win 37-26 at Florida State in 2012, the Seminoles’ last loss before the 26-game win streak started.

Georgia

Target: Alabama or Mississippi State (Dec. 6)

Scenario: Let's assume the SEC West champion rolls into Atlanta with one loss. Would a two-loss Georgia team convince the playoff committee they belong with an upset in Atlanta? Worth knowing: Nick Chubb has 815 rushing yards and seven TDs in Georgia’s last five games.

Kansas State

Target: Baylor (Dec. 6)

Scenario: The Bears will be looking to make their final case for the College Football Playoff, but the Wildcats could give a little bit of payback. Remember, Baylor ended Kansas State’s bid for a BCS championship appearance in 2012 the last time these teams played in Waco.

Missouri

Target: Alabama or Mississippi State (Dec. 6)

Scenario: The Tigers have a chance to win back-to-back SEC East champions, even if the rest of the conference still considers them an outsider. What better way to prove your worth than by knocking off either the Tide or Bulldogs?

Ole Miss

Target: Mississippi State (Nov. 29)

Scenario: Mississippi State still has a compelling case to make the four-team playoff despite one loss, and no matter what this will be an Egg Bowl for the ages in Oxford on Nov. 29. Given all the attention to the Magnolia State this season, this year’s winner will be remembered forever. No pressure.

Texas

Target: TCU (Nov. 27)

Scenario: The Longhorns are bowl eligible now, and Charlie Strong can add to the reclamation project by knocking off the Horned Frogs in Austin. The Horned Frogs won the last meeting in Austin 20-13, their first win there since 1967.

UCLA

Target: Oregon (Dec. 5)

Scenario: UCLA controls its destiny in the Pac-12 South now. The Bruins have won four in a row since a 42-30 loss against the Ducks on Oct. 11, and Brett Hundley is getting better protection now. UCLA has the playmakers to make a shootout interesting if they get a rematch.

Wisconsin

Target: Ohio State (Dec. 6)

Scenario: The Badgers have won the Big Ten championship game twice, and Melvin Gordon might be making a run at both the Heisman Trophy and NCAA all-time single-season rushing record at the same time. The Badgers kept it close in a 31-24 loss at Columbus last year.
