Who is Maddi Levi?
Australia's star player so far in the Women's Rugby Sevens has been 22-year-old Gold Coast product Maddi Levi.
In just five games, Levi has scored an incredible 12 tries – a record for a single Olympics/
Levi is a multi-sport standout, having previously featured for the Gold Coast Suns AFLW team, leading their goalkicking in her maiden season in 2021 only to make the switch to rugby sevens full-time after one year.
Playing alongside her younger sister Teagan, who has pitched in with three tries of her own, Levi's speed and strength should see her dominate the sport for years to come.
