Madison de Rozario and Brenden Hall named Australian Paralympic Games flag bearers for 2024

De Rozario and Hall will both be making their fifth consecutive Paralympic Games appearances in Paris.

De Rozario is a wheelchair racer who specialises in middle and long-distance events.

She developed a neurological disease called transverse myelitis at a young age, which inflames her spinal cord and requires her to use a wheelchair.

Across her Paralympic career, she has won two gold medals, three silver and a bronze.

Hall is a swimmer who competes under the S9 classification.

His right leg was amputated as a six-year-old following complications from chicken pox, which also saw him lose most of his hearing.

He has also earned several Paralympic medals, picking up three gold medals, a silver and two bronze across four Games.
